[00:41.36] But there are no real lives that hurt without reach, but not broken
[00:47.54] Unless the homes of soldiers stationed overseas
[00:50.61] Or lost in battles or broken
[00:53.07] Unless the homes of firemen, policemen, construction workers
[00:56.01] Seamen, railroad men, truckers, pilots
[00:59.42] Who lost their lives, but not for what their lives stood for
[01:03.84] Because men die, men lose, they are lost and they leave
[01:09.64] And so do women
[01:11.51] I came from what they called "A broken home"
[01:14.95] But they ever really called it "A house"
[01:18.38] They would have known how wrong they were
[01:21.73] We were working on our lives and our homes
[01:24.86] Dealing with what we had, not what we didn't have
[01:29.85] My life has been guided by women
[01:32.89] But because of them; I am a man
